Frequently Asked Questions

How did you Self Publish?

7 words.

Ignore the Haters.

And be a Hustler.

Now in truth that may be an oversimplification, but in practice you would be surprised. The resources are out there if you want it bad enough, and so I will let them speak for themselves and give the best advice I can. Ignore the people who tell you can't do it, and then prove them wrong.

If you can do that, then you can do anything.

What do you read? What inspires you? What's your favorite series?

I love anything fantasy that has strong female heroines, defies social conventions, and is not something I have already read!

My favorite authors and series include: J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter(of course), Sarah J Maas with a Court of Thorns and Roses and Throne of Glass, Elise Kova with Air Awakens, as well as most anything written by Jane Washington. So check them out!

Where can I send you fan mail?

First off, thank you for thinking of me! I set up a PO Box just for you guys.

How can I get free copies of x, y, z?

I don't offer free copies of any of my works currently. As a writer I pretty much slave away for months and months hoping that every book sells at least as well as the last if not better. Just like you I have a dog, a significant other, a house to pay for, and to stay alive I kind of need to eat. Please, please do not email asking for free books because I will say no every time. I have to. If I do it for one then it gets around and I have to do it for all. My books are all under 5$, which is less than a cup of coffee. Please respect that I price them low for all readers to get the chance to read, but that I cannot work for free.

How can I get signed books from x, y, z series?

I'm sorry, currently I do not have a way to get out mass copies of signed books. I run lots of giveaway on Facebook, Twitter, and in my newsletter. If you are dying for a signed copy I would start there.

When will "X" book be out?

All upcoming books are posted about fairly regularly in my readers group, Kel's Krew, on Facebook. Outside of that I also post on my Facebook page and in my newsletter.

If there is a book you are waiting on, please consider leaving a review on the previous book in series. I am prioritizing what I write based on reader interest which is determined by reviews. If a book has under 50 reviews it is not likely to be at the top of my list of things to work on. Places I am looking at reviews is Amazon and Goodreads.
